60th Independence Anniversary, Igbo Youths Tell Nigerians, “Look unto God for survival”

The President General, Igbo Vanguard Group, Engr. Nnadozie Uchegbuo has encouraged Nigerians to be patient and look unto God, who has special interest in the country.
Uchegbuo who spoke to a cross section of Journalists in Umuahia, Abia State, said although Nigeria has not reached the promised land at 60 years because of the hiccups it passed through, but expressed hope that things will soon turn around for good.
Uchegbuo said, “There is still hope for Nigerians because Nigeria is a special case to God, the creator of heavens and the earth. Nigeria would have done better earlier before now, if not for the decades of military interruptions on the democratic development of Nigeria, whereby a section of the armed forces known as the Army recruited and paid by the taxpayers of the Nigerian citizenry, left their rules of engagement as soldiers; of protecting the territorial integrity of Nigeria against any external aggression, to take over power from the civilian through violence and imbalance, created and cemented by the British colonial masters of Nigeria”.
Uchegbuo said that the genesis of Nigeria problem could be traceable to take over power by the Army, but maintained that there is a brighter future for an average Nigerian.
“Soon, our case will never be the same. Soon our youths and girls will not be used as slaves and sex toys abroad. Our helper must come and Nigerians will smile again. We will be elevated to a level of glory and bounce back as the giant of Africa. There is hope for Nigeria”, Uchegbuo who is also the President General of Ahuwa-Oboro autonomous community, Ikwuano L.G.A, of Abia State expressed optimism.
