The founder and Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, (GUU) Prof. Greg Ikechukwu Ibe has congratulated His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu Ph.D as he celebrates his 60th year.
He advised Abians and people of the world to find time to celebrate themselves “when we are still alive and counting the blessings of God Almighty from time to time”.
The gift of life, as he observed, cannot be equaled to wealth, intellectual capacity, political sagacity, including “our mien disposition, but by the will of God Almighty”.
His word, “it is not he that willet nor he that runneth, but God that showeth mercy”
The university don used the auspicious moment of the Deputy Governor’s celebration to call on all and sundry to have peace, oneness, peaceful coexistence and cohabitation as a way of achieving a greater Abia and live as brothers and sisters bounded by the uniqueness of the creation of the state which is “God’s Own State”.
The GUU Chancellor reminded Abians that humility which is epitomized in the life and activities of the Deputy Governor is a virtue all men and women should emulate in order to make the world a better place.
He therefore wished him well and many more years of divine favour.
