Teenage Suspected Kidnappers Arrested In Abuja, Police Say ‘They Have Made Useful Confessions’

The FCT Police Command has arrested two teenagers for allegedly engaging in kidnapping along Kwali axis of Abuja.

The suspects, one Musa Mukailu 18 years and one Damina Wali 17 years have, according to the police, confessed to be members of a kidnapping syndicate, even as the police investigations continue on their alleged kidnapping activities.

They reportedly met their waterloo while trying to kidnap two women along kwali axis of the FCT.

ASP Daniel Y Ndirpaya, Acting Police Public Relations Officer of the command, said the suspects were arrested on August 25, 2021 by operatives of the Command’s anti-kidnapping section while on routine patrol.

He further disclosed that effort is being made to arrest other members of the syndicate now at large.

Meanwhile, the Command has pledged its undeterred resolve to ensure lives and properties of residents within the FCT are protected.

Said the police release made available to our Reporter, “For commendation or report on the conduct of Police Officers, call the Public Complaint Bureau (PCB) Line: 09022222352. Comments and observations can be dropped in any of the police suggestion boxes located at Berger roundabout, Area 1 round about and Federal Secretariat”.
