How TB Joshua Died

Reports reaching our news desk say Tele-Evangelist Pastor, Temitope Balogun Joshua known generally as T B Joshua collapsed about 7pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 after an evening service.

Some of his church workers who witnessed the tragic event alerted others immediately. Fervent prayers were initially offered until it was decided that he should be rushed to a hospital in Okotun, Lagos, where his church is also situated.

Before then, he reportedly complained of being tired.

Doctors at the Okotun hospital confirmed later him dead. Though, the cause of his death was sketchy as the time of filing in this report, but unconfirmed sources say his death may not be unconnected with COVID-19 pandemic.

The renowned Tele-Evangelist, known worldwide through his Healing and Deliverance prowess by his Synagogue of All Nations Ministries was born in 1961. He was known as an unrepentant philanthropist who had helped many people, especially the poor and needy.

He paid flight tickets to some of the foreigners who couldn’t make it back to their various countries after visiting his church. At the home front, he gave food, clothes and cashes to the deprived. In fact, his church, Synagogue of All Nations is a Jerusalem of a sort as people, including ex and serving Presidents, Prime Ministers and Heads of State, throng there for miracles, healing and deliverance.

The charismatic Pastor who hails from Arigidi-Akoko runs the Emmanuel Television that broadcasts his Evangelism works worldwide. He recently embarked on some reorganization exercise in the church to avoid large gatherings that could lead to the spread of COVID-19.

His reason for doing so, sources indicate, was to curb the spread of COVID-19.
