AbNorth/Aba South Federal Constituency Bye-Election: We Are Comfortable With The PDP, Group Insists

By Our Special Correspondent:
A nonpolitical movement under the umbrella name : Concerned Aba Progressive Movement has raised alarm over what it described as an attempt by desperate politicians (not PDP members) to misguide the public on various issues during the bye-election of Aba North and South Federal Constituency, scheduled for March 27, 2021.
In a press statement signed by Chibudo Nwogu – Chairman and Cherechi Ogbonna – Secretary for
Concerned Aba Progressive Movement captioned: Never Again In Aba North & South Federal Constituency, the group pointed out that Aba voters are better enlightened and would not follow deceivers who have nothing to offer.
The release read, “We wish to bring to the notice of the good people of Aba North and South Federal Constituency that those who felt uncomfortable with the strides recorded by the PDP led administration in Abia state are in again with their propaganda to frustrate the upcoming bye election.
“We want to put it to them that their antics won’t work effectively this time as the good people of Aba North and South are better enlightened and alive to their responsibilities. Also they have been exposed on their failures to fulfill promises made to the public in their months of rule in the state and federal levels.
“The drowning political parties are taking advantage of fake information and spreading lies against the ever performing PDP.
“We have gathered that the unwanted parties would also try to misguide the public on various issues during the bye-poll.
“We are aware of the tactics being played by their leaders and we will make the public aware of the truth and the facts.
“We are set out to effectively counter the anti-PDP propaganda by drowning political parties ahead of bye polls on 27th March in the state”.
