The Hungarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Sander Beers, has paid a working visit to the Chancellor of Gregory University (GUU), Prof Greg Ibe at his Skill G Innov8 Hub Abuja.
Beers, who recently came to the hub with his team, described the Skill G Innov8 Hub as very innovative.
The Ambassador during his epoch making visit, commended Prof Ibe for his ingenuity in founding Innov8 Hub; an innovation establishment that will catalyse a massive entrepreneurial development in very many spheres of technological enhancement and meaningfully build on the Nigerian economy.
Dr Sander Beers while commending the efforts of Prof Ibe in thinking out such an inspiring technological development centre and bringing this idea to reality went further to express his surprise during his visit and stated that “it is one of its kinds in Nigeria; it is a clear paradigm departure from the old ways of seeking technological development”.
According to him, “giving the strength of the Structure and Technology Hub, Nigeria is in for monumental developments of her economy. This is why they are touched by this initiative and have declared their intentions to Partner Skill G Innov8 Hub”.
Earlier, while welcoming the Hungarian Ambassador, Dr Sander Beers and his team, Ibe thanked them for their interest to partner the Innov8 Hub, pointing out that while the technology centre is his brainchild, the management of centre is collaborating with an Israeli firm to assemble the best technological contents, ensure international best standard practices and prompt delivery of contents.
He expressed his joy on the commitment shown by the Hungarian Ambassador and his team as well as the readiness of Innov8 Hub to reciprocate their offer.
It will be recalled that earlier in 20th November 2021, the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken also endorsed the Skill G Innov8 Hub Centre at Abuja when he visited the establishment in the company of Mary Beth Leonard, the United States Ambassador to Nigeria during which he endorsed the project.
