The former Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, has commended Rev Benson Ezem and Rev Mrs Patricia Ezem, founders of the Lively Hope World Outreach incorporated (LHWO),for extending their hands of fellowship to the less privileged and indigent students in Abia State.
Speaking at the award of scholarships to many indigent students and distribution of cash, foodstuffs and medi-care by the Lively Hope World Outreach incorporated (LHWO), the former NDDC Chairman, noted that NGO, founded since 2006 by Rev Ezem and his wife, Patricia, has given succor to thousands of people in Ubakala Clan, Umuahia South LGA of Abia State where the couple hails from as well as the entire state.
It will be recalled that the Lively Hope World Outreach incorporated (LHWO), is a Christian non-governmental organization (NGO). According to Rev and Rev Mrs Ezem, the establishment of the organization was in fulfillment of God’s vision to help the downtrodden in the Ubakala Clan and the state at large to survive the hard times.
Ugochukwu said unlike other NGOs that are founded for political reasons, the Lively Hope World Outreach whose Foundation has not only enhanced the lives of people in need through cash gifts, worship of God an annual harvest.
On Sunday, December 26, 2021, the Foundation distributed cash, foodstuffs and medi-care to many indigent people of Umuahia South in fulfillment of its divine vision mandate. It used the occasion to hold a music festival in compliance with its divine mandate that says “Erect an Altar of Praise and Worship (Music) unto My Holy Name in the land of Ubakala Clan and Beyond”.
Responding at the occasion, Rev Ezem, the NGO’s President, who is also a renowned Architect and who spoke on behalf of his wife, Patricia, the Executive Vice President, said in compliance of the vision of God which to provide succour to the less privileged and raise an Altar for God, many indigent people and students have through it been blessed in Ubakala and other communities of Abia State.
Many prominent personalities attended the colourful ceremony that attracted notable and incoming gospel artistes in Ubakala, Umuahia South, Abia State and Nigeria.
Meanwhile, in line with the mandate, the NGO has continued to distribute food items and clothing materials to many hungry children in the streets of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
