As the former governor o Ekiti State, Chief Peter Ayodele Fayose celebrates former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s lookalike in his Facebook page, many Nigerians who are Facebook friends of the immediate past governor of Ekiti State have called on the former governor to initiate moves to better of life of the supposed Obasanjo’s double.
In his Facebook page at the weekend, Fayose talked of how he made a rare discovery of Obasanjo’s double, an Igbo, whose name is CHIBUZOR at Anifowoshe area of Ikeja, Lagos State last week. He indeed looks like Olusegun Obasanjo and may likely qualify as his son.
In their reactions, some of his Facebook friends urged him to better the life of the 40 year old man who works in a garage at Anifowoshe, Ikeja, Lagos.
Actually, CHIBUZOR hails from Umuopara Clan of Umuahia South in Abia State. The facial resemblance of the two is overwhelmingly striking. He and his widowed mother live in Lagos. The question is: Would fortune smile on the Olusegun Obasanjo’s lookalie? Time will tell many believe.
Known as OBJ of Anifowoshe, CHIBUZOR is a likeable personality who is very dear to the people around the area.
Meanwhile, in reaction to Fayose’s post, the Daily Trust Newspaper wrote:
Former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has posted a picture he took with a man who shares facial resemblance with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Although both men are no longer holding political positions, the dust raised when they were in office is yet to settle.
Obasanjo was in the third year of his second term presidency when Fayose was impeached on October 16, 2006.
The former governor had accused Obasanjo of masterminding his impeachment.
However, Fayose got another opportunity to govern Ekiti as he was sworn in on October 16, 2014.
But the animosity between him and Obasanjo has deepened.
In a social media post on Saturday, Fayose, who is now based in Lagos, shared a picture of a man whom he said he met in Nigeria’s commercial capital on Friday.
The dressing of the man shows he belongs to the lower class of the society unlike Nigeria’s former president.
Fayose what looked like a sarcastic message to the picture which he shared on his social media platforms.
The post read: “In Lagos yesterday, I met this man. He is popularly known as Obasanjo and I joined his admirers to call him the OBJ of Lagos.
