Congregants in Aba based Church, the Tower of Revelation Ministry, were shocked to their marrow on Sunday, when their Senior Pastor and Pastor of the faith-based Church came to the church fully attired in Ohafia traditional dress.
The cleric, Apostle Umah Udah, expected to come to the Church on his usual dress of three-piece English suit, wore different attire to the shock and consternation of his members.
“He indeed dressed like an Ohafia warlord”, said a surprised church member as the cleric mounted the pulpit, dishing out the word of God to his members unperturbed.
Our Reporter learnt that the Senior Pastor of the Church is also a Prince in Akanu, Ohafia where he hails from, even as his members believed that his Sunday Service branding was a way of promoting the Ohafia nay Igbo culture.
Said a congregant, “that’s a way of promoting the rich culture of the African people”.
However, our reporter revealed that the act has generated mixed reactions among Nigerians with many however commending the clergy for promoting the African culture, even as they called on other men of God and celebrities to emulate him by toeing the same line, while some described it as demonic.
