As the March 27, 2021 Aba North and South Federal Constituency bye election approaches, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Abia State chapter, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere has expressed confidence that the party’s candidate, Chief Chimaobi Ebisike is cruising home with victory.
Okere who spoke to Abia parrot online in Umuahia, pointed out that the opposition parties in the election is not a threat to the PDP but their threat only manifest in noise making.
His words, “They (the opposition parties) are threat in noise making but in reality, they are no where and you know that the opposition thrives in noise making and you cannot take that away from them. They are making reasonable Abians think that there is a serious fight or war going on but in the field, they are nowhere”.
The Abia PDP Chairman who expressed preparedness of the party to go into the election and come out victoriously, revealed that the real work of mobilization is in full gear ahead of the poll.
He said in the areas of campaign and mobilization of the people, the PDP is far ahead of the APGA and APC.
“We are mobilizing our party, we are mobilizing the masses. We are mobilizing Aba People. Our attention is on campaign, mass mobilization, educating our people on the rights and the right thing to do”, Rt. Hon. Okere said.
