The Chancellor and Founder of Gregory University Uturu (GUU), Prof Greg Ikechukwu Ibe, OFR, Enyi Abia, has on Friday 17th December, 2021, donated over 1000 reading materials to Ibeku High School, Umuahia under his “Equip Abia Primary and Secondary School Program”.
The Chancellor who was represented by Comrade Christian Ofondu, reiterated his efforts in ensuring that Abia Students have an enabling environment to study so as to guarantee a solid academic background for all.
The Chancellor promised to continue partnering with schools in the state in major areas of their challenges and used the forum to commend the staff and management of the School for maintaining the high standard the school was known for.
He added that the school had produced men and women of high profile in our society today and charged the students to emulate them.
Receiving the gift items on behalf of the Management and Staff of the school, the Principal of Ibeku High School, Sir Matthew Ikechukwu Uzoegbu, thanked Prof Greg Ibe for remembering the school at this critical time and prayed God to continue to bless him.
