The wife of the Governor of Abia State, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu PhD, has once again received accolades for her dedication to the growth of women particularly in Abia State.
The commendation came from Prof Gregory Ikechukwu Ibe, the proprietor and Pro Chancellor of Gregory University, Uturu when he paid a courtesy visit to the First Lady at Government House, Umuahia.
Prof. Ibe described Her Excellency’s efforts in women development as nothing short of epic and reiterated his avowed dedication to the economic growth of Abia State through entrepreneurship.
The university don assured Mrs Ikpeazu of his readiness to partner with her office to complete the secretariat of the National Council of Women Society (NCWS) which her office is erecting in the state.
Prof Ibe restated his resolve to replicate the support he has given to the National Council of Women at the National at the level to the state, recalling his recent donation of popcorn machines to indigent women through the office of Her Excellency in support of her efforts.
Uche Nwosu is a two time Shell Petroleum PLC award winner in the year 2000;
He won the Shell Award on Investigative Journalism and Environmental Cleanliness.
