More Health For Abians: Prof Ibe’s Free Medicare Moves To Abia North

Following the completion of the Abia Central Senatorial zone edition of the Prof Gregory Ibe Free Medical and Surgical Outreach, arrangements have been concluded for the commencement of the next edition of the programme in Abia North Senatorial zone.

A statement signed by Hon Boniface Ikwuagwu, the Executive Secretary of Gregory Iyke Foundation, organizers of the medical outreach, revealed that the Abia North exercise will kick off with a flag off ceremony on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Obimba Hall Amaekpu Ohafia.

According to Hon Ikwuagwu, “having completed the Abia Central edition of our programme where the medical team handled a total of 2,511 patients and dispensed 1,652 medicated glasses; we’re now set to commence the Abia North stanza”.

“Subsequently, on Friday, August 12, 2022, representatives of our founder, Prof Gregory Ibe, the Abia state governorship candidate of APGA, will flag off the exercise in a colorful event that will take place at Obimba Hall, Amaekpu Ohafia.

“It is envisaged that the Abia State Deputy Governorship candidate of APGA and member representing Aba South in Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Obinna Ichita, will lead members of the Abia APGA State Working Committee and other distinguished personalities to flag off the outreach”.

A comprehensive calendar contained in the press statement reveals that the seven-day outreach will cover different locations in Ohafia, Arochukwu, Bende and Isuikwuato LGAs, adding that Umunneochi will be treated exclusively subsequently.
