Day Of Glory for MFM As Fathers End Retreat In Grand Style In Umuahia

It was a day of glory and joy for the Men of Valour of Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM), Region 6, Amuzukwu headquarters, Umuahia as they celebrated the end of their three-day Retreat that started on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

The Men of Valour is the Men’s Fellowship of the church, whose international headquarters is in Lagos. The church is founded by Dr Daniel Olukoya, an Apostle, Evangelist and former lecturer at the University of Lagos.

The three-day event was climaxed by lectures on education, trade and investments, venturing into agriculture and had renowned Speakers from various backgrounds tutoring the men on better ways to serve God and live a healthy life.

The second day of the Retreat that was done on Friday saw other Speakers from the Academia, Medicine and Captains of Industries talk on maintaining a healthy living, family growth as well as children and wives relationship in the family amongst other interesting topics.

At the occasion, held at the church’s Regional headquarters, Amuzukwu near the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), medical workers had a field day checking the Blood Pressure (BP), Sugar levels as well as the prostrate status of participants as they enjoyed the fountain from Heaven.

Indeed, the third day was climaxed by an outpouring of Heavenly Glory as the Regional Pastor; Pastor Gbenga Aramu tasked Christian fathers to look onto Jesus Christ for salvation, deliverance, healing, wealth etc, warning against seeking powers from other sources.

The man of God asked Christian fathers not to hesitate to assume their full role as heads of their families, even as he stressed that a good father should be the bridge between him, wife and children and Jesus Christ.

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, a Special Service was held in commemoration of the Men’s Week, where Pastor Gbenga admonished Christians to be steadfast in the worship of God and used the occasion to offer special prayers for the celebrating dads.

Speaking at the event, one of the Coordinators of the Retreat and Leader, Success Group of MFM, Region 6, Umuahia, Dr Victor Anih informed that the Retreat was held so that members of the Men Fellowship of the church will self-appraise their works vis-à-vis their relationship with God and man.

Anih, who spoke on behalf of the Leader of MOV, Hon Israel Amanze, who is also the Programme Manager, Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Abia State, stated that any work without self appraisal and examination, especially when it concerns how close one is with His maker as well as ensuring that one’s body remains sound and healthy as he serves God, remains an exercise in futility.
