Barbaric…How Woman Accused Of Killing Hubby With Excessive Sex Was Rescued, Police Arrest One Suspect

Police in Aguleri in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State has rescued a middle-aged lady who was paraded nude in the streets of the ancient town for allegedly causing the death of her husband with too much sexual intercourse.

A statement by the police spokesman, Ikenga Tochukwu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police said police swung into action after watching a video clip of the incident.

A narrator in the video speaking in native Aguleri dialect alleged that the deceased slated to bury his mother next month but his wife killed him with excess sex.

The deceased was seen dressed dead and lying on a bed.

The lady was then paraded around Aguleri as the people chanted derogatory songs and abuses for her.

However, the PPRO said in a statement  that one suspect has been arrested for the barbaric act as the police studies the video to identify other suspects and bring them to book.

The statement said: “Anambra State Police Operatives have today 12/3/2022 at about 12:07pm rescued a female victim from an angry mob in Aguleri.

“The rescue was as a result of a report seen trending video of where a lady was publicly molested and assaulted on  an alleged incident of causing the death of her late husband.

“Further information reveals that the deceased had already been buried before the video started trending. The victim was rescued and she is currently receiving medical care in the hospital.

“The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng while describing the act as barbaric, states that one suspect is already in custody and ordered immediate study of the video with the aim to identify the suspects, arrest and bring them to book.

“He also urged members of the public to stop sharing the video in other to protect the dignity of the woman.

“More development shall be communicated please”
