Tinubu Vows, ‘I’ll Support Whoever Emerges APC Flag Bearer In A Free, Fair Primary’

Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) returned his completed nomination form, giving assurances of his total support for any candidate that emerges at a free and primary of the party.

Babachir Lawal, former Secretary of the Government of the Federation, who returned the form on behalf of Tinubu said that Tinubu is very confident of victory, pointing out however, that as a democrat the aspirant would not be a sour loser provided the process is free, fair.

His word ‘We feel elated that today we have come to submit the winning form and we have complied with one of the major requirements of the party for constesting for presidency on the platform of APC. We have done all that is required.

“We have submitted all the documents that are required. As you can see we have received our acknowledgement copy and we are confident that victory will be ours on 30th May during the convention.

“We are ready, 100% prepared. There are no challenges, we are politicians. We have been in this game for many years. Whatever challenges there are, we will convert them to opportunities.

“He is a democrat, every politician should not be afraid of election because the probability are two; either you win or lose. So, if we win at the convention, we will go back home, we will leak our wounds and prepared to support the winner if he wins in a fee and fair manner”.
